Awards For You
One day, while surfing one of my sister's sites (Sakky-chan!), I was inspired to give out awards to sites with characters I felt should get some recognition.
Recognition with a shiny award of course!
So here's your chance to get an award of your own! Please read over the rules first, view some of the examples, and submit today! These awards concentrate more on characters and the fiction, so if you can't find what you're looking for, please go here.
The art featured in the award is also by my sister, Sakky! It's a newer one, so it should be in the galleries the next time I update!
o Your site must be updated at least semi-regularly, with a good amount of content, and is easy to navigate (so no sticky caps!).
o Adult sites and fanfics are allowed, but nothing that is out of taste. There's a limit to these things, even for me.
o You may apply for up to three awards at one time, however I reserve the right to refuse an award to anyone (for whatever reason). If you have submitted a form and you haven't heard a response, assume that you didn't recieve one, and wait at least a few weeks to submit again.
o When you do recieve an award, it must be placed on your site with a visible link, either with the award itself as a link, or a text link somewhere above/beside/below it.
This is probably the hardest of the awards to recieve. I will take everything of your senshi into account (name, sign, personality, history, everything!), so I'm looking for really well thought out, creative senshi, with a lot of effort put into them. Actually, this is probably the award I want to give out the most ^_^.
I've seen quite a few fuku in my day, and I've seen quite a few impressive ones already! I consider colour, form, and creativity, and most important of all; originality!
A good male senshi is about as rare as spotting a Panda in France. And no, men in sailor fuku do not count. Like the first award, I factor in a lot of things from the profile and with this one, his in-battle uniform, to make a decision. So bring on the bishounen gods!
To me, a lot of things factor into a good Romance, such as history, the dynamic between the two, and the events throughout the story. I, for one, am a sucker for these kinds of things. For those who ask, all types of couples count; straight, gay/yaoi and lesbian/yuri count.
There's nothing like a badass senshi in the mix to stir everything up! Like the good guys, my idea of a good evil senshi has depth, reason to be evil, and motive.
Pretty much the same as above, but the Villain can be male or female, but not a senshi.
To me, I take in everything into account with a fanfiction; the plot, characters, events, structure, symbolism; everything. I'm sure you can find a million and one guides for fanfiction that would help you if you needed it, but that's not why we're here ^_^. A good fanfiction is original and imaginative, and makes the reader think after he or she is done reading.
Same as above, but only has adult themes and/or content. Please have such content be tasteful, however.
